Cha Reyes

I'm Cha Reyes, a tattoo artist with years of experience in the Riviera Maya. My studio, Cha Reyes Tattoo Studio, grew on the famous Fifth Avenue in Playa del Carmen, where I've become a key figure among the old-school tattoo artists who helped professionalize the craft in the area.

I specialize in tattoos with clean lines, working in realism, chicano style, and pre-Hispanic Mexican cultural elements. I always adapt to what each client is looking for, while maintaining a professional artistic signature that sets my work apart.

When I'm not behind the tattoo machine, you'll find me playing congas or timbales. I'm passionate about Latin rhythms and rock, and I've played with various bands and live music projects in Playa del Carmen and Tulum. In Playa, saying "Cha Reyes" means talking about someone who seamlessly blends visual art on skin with the art of percussion.
